Interested in joining us?
I welcome students interested in physical oceanography and geophysical fluid dynamics, particularly coastal circulation, waves, flow–topography interactions, and ocean transport. Projects may involve numerical modeling, oceanographic observations, satellite data, or combinations of these approaches.
Students can join through CICESE’s MSc or PhD program in Physical Oceanography. Our program includes students from Mexico and around the world, although classes are taught in Spanish. Students admitted to the program may be eligible to apply for SECIHTI graduate funding.

Escríbeme si te interesa la oceanografía física y dinámica de fluidos geofísicos, particularmente la circulación costera, ondas, interacción flujo–topografía y transporte oceánico. Posibles proyectos pueden involucrar modelación numérica, observaciones oceanográficas, datos satelitales o una combinación de estas herramientas.
Es posible incorporarse a través de la Maestría o el Doctorado en Oceanografía Física del CICESE. En el programa participan estudiantes de México y de otros países; las clases se imparten en español. Les estudiantes admitides pueden ser candidates a solicitar una beca de posgrado de SECIHTI.
